Time for a little update. The week after the Woodenbong Challenge the Landy was heading out to the farm to help ferry some pilots that were flying in for the weekend. Problems was she did not make it.
While driving around town my Dad had to do some evasive driving in the middle of traffic with smoke filling the cabin. As he got across the bridge he was on and pulled over it was a dash to turn everything off and try to remember where the battery was.
What had happened is when i was fiddling with fusses I had accidentally pinched a wire between to fuse box cover and the backig plate. It had worn through and dead shorted. That has created quite a mess behind the dash.

I am now in the process of pulling the dash apart to replace the melted wire and the plugs that have also melted. Looks like there was been a fairbit of moisture in the back so some water proof plugs as well as finding the leak will be the order of the day.
