After the issues yesterday we headed to Supercheap Auto to stock up on a range of supplies for the trip home. Tool set, oil, tarp, kneadit, high pressure tape… And more. We loaded the back up and headed to our friend Jeff’s place near Balingup.
Jeff has a small farm on the Blackwood River. Southampton Farm now runs pastured chickens, ducks and geese that will be coming to market shortly. Jeff has taken this little farm from reclaimed pine plantation to a great little productive block Ina relatively short period of time.
As we walked around the farm late I the afternoon the weather moved in and the rain started. It continued all night with a few very sharp down pours, a quick check of the old girl reviewed as would be expected a few water leaks around the doors from very old door seals.
